Homeschool Minnesota Convention
Teen Track
Raising teenagers in today’s world presents unique challenges and incredible opportunities. That’s why the MÂCHÉ Convention includes a thoughtfully designed Teen Track, created to speak directly to the hearts and minds of young people in this pivotal season of life.
Led by engaging, Christ-centered speakers, the Teen Track includes sessions that invite students to explore relevant topics like faith, worldview, identity, and purpose. It’s not just about information—it’s about formation. Through these sessions, your teen will be encouraged to think deeply, stand confidently, and grow in their walk with God.
We invite you to consider the Teen Track as a meaningful part of your family’s convention experience. It is our pleasure to announce Worldview Academy as our Teen Track program!

Session 1: Nature of God & Man by Dell Cook
Regardless of who we are or where we come from, we humans have given some thought toward some big questions about, well, who we are and where we come from. Our thoughts and conclusions to these questions have very real and deep implications for how we live and move and have our being. In this lecture, Dell will look at the common ways that people think about reality, meaning, purpose, and identity and the implications of these ideas.
Session 2: What is Truth by Mike Schutt
An introduction to epistemology. Truth is revealed, and truth is a person. Discipleship is a practical outgrowth of the pursuit of truth. We discuss the source of truth, how we know what we know, and the means through which God reveals Himself. In this lecture, Mike spends a few minutes exploring potential conflicting views of revelation, particularly as they relate to the scientific method and scientism. We also examine the nature of discipleship and its relationship to one’s view of truth.
Session 3: Panel Discussion by Dell Cook and Mike Schutt
Question and answer session with Dell Cook and Mike Schutt.
Session 4: The Excellent Life by Dell Cook
What’s so “good” about the Good News? Manifesting a biblical worldview leads toward a life that reflects God’s Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. The result is an alluring and captivating “fleshing out” of the Gospel. This talk examines the principles of an Excellent Life, as seen in 1 Peter.

Session 6: Leisure by Mike Schutt
An introduction to a Christian view of leisure in the classical sense: pursuing truth, goodness, and beauty for their own sakes, because we are created to pursue them. The lecture discusses habits that lead to true leisure and its relationship to our pursuit of God.
Session 7: Leisure Practicum by Mike Schutt
In this highly interactive practicum we will workshop our leisure habits and practices, seeking to better understand how we can pursue true leisure.
Session 8: The Next Name in the Toledoth by Dell Cook
