Q: Will the workshops be recorded? Will there be a special discount if purchasing at the time of registration or during the convention?
A: Yes, the workshops will be recorded. Resounding Voice will be our audio recording service this year. They have a pre-conference bundle for $69. You can add that purchase at the time of registration or you can go by their booth at convention to purchase this.
Q: Will I be able to get a certificate for CEU's this year?
A: Yes, we will have two different CEU certificates. If you will only be able to attend one day of the convention we will have an 8 hour CEU certificate. If you complete the whole weekend, we will have a 16 hour CEU certificate. Please visit the MÂCHÉ booth on Saturday afternoon after 2pm to get a copy of your CEU certificate.
Q: Will there be childcare at the convention?
A: No, we do not offer childcare at the homeschool convention.
Q: Will there be a full exhibit hall of experienced vendors?
A: Yes. Check out the Exhibitors page.
Q: What are the open hours for the exhibit hall this year?
A: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, Friday/Saturday
Q: Will there be a cafeteria? Will there be food and drink onsite? What are my food options?
A: Friday lunch will be brought to us by Chick-Fil-A, our Food Sponsor this year. A list of local restaurants will be available at the MÂCHÉ booth.
Q: Will there be a room for nursing moms at convention?
A: Yes, you will find signs to the nursing mom location on site.
Q: Will there be parking onsite? Does it cost anything?
A: Yes, there will be parking available. No charge.
Q: What if I can no longer attend the convention, can I get a refund?
A: Homeschool Minnesota - MÂCHÉ does not offer refunds of fees for membership or other Homeschool Minnesota - MÂCHÉ sponsored events outside of the convention registration. If for any reason you must cancel your convention registration, Homeschool Minnesota - MÂCHÉ will refund your registration upon written notification of cancellation on or before 30 days prior to the convention, minus a $25 processing fee. No refunds will be offered after that time period. One EXCEPTION - if you pay for purchase protection when you register you can request a full refund. Transfers of a convention registration may be made to another person, but you will process this transfer on your own. Homeschool Minnesota - MÂCHÉ would also appreciate knowing who has purchased your registration so that it does not cause confusion at the registration tables the day of convention. Please note that your Homeschool Minnesota - MACHE membership is not transferable.
Q: When will registration open for the 2026 Homeschool Minnesota - MÂCHÉ Convention?
A: February 23, 2026
Q: Does the registration fee include my spouse?
A: No, registration is per person. This means that you will need to register everyone individually who will be attending the convention. This helps us keep better track of our needs and participation. Children under age 18 months are FREE. Teen Track is now a registration option along with adult and grandparents. Please be sure to register for the correct options. Due to the venue size we will not have a youth registration option.
Q: Will there be on-site registration?
A: Yes, we will have a late/mobile registration which will be accepted through the convention. Please note that the ;ate/mobile registration will be more than the EARLY BIRD registration. There will be no discounts for members during the late/mobile registration period.
Q: Do grandparents get in for free?
A: Yes. You will be offered the option to register grandparents when you register for convention. Grandparents must qualify in one of two ways:
- Must be a retired homeschooling parent who is no longer teaching children OR
- You never homeschooled your children, but you are attending with your adult child as they will be homeschooling your grandchildren.
Q: Will there be a silent auction at convention this year?
A: Yes. Details will be available on the Silent Auction page.
Q: Will there be a storage & strollers check (SSC) this year?
A: No, there will not be a storage & strollers check this year. The parking lot is easily accessible to run your purchases back to your trunk.
Q: Will strollers be allowed?
A: MÂCHÉ has always had a no stroller policy. If, however, you have a health issue that requires the use of a stroller for your child, please email [email protected] with the details. This will allow us to plan accordingly. We will consider the situation on a case by case basis. Under these circumstances you will be given a special stroller tag so that the security team will know it has been approved by MÂCHÉ. All other strollers will be parked by the storage & strollers check location.
Q: Will there be a program for my students between the ages of 13-18?
A: Yes! Please see full details under the Teen Track page on the convention page.
Q: Do I need to register my student for a youth admissions as well as the Teen Track registration?
A: No, you will register your student for the Teen Track if they are between 13-18 and plan to participate in the Teen Track. There will be no youth registration this year.
Q: Will there be used books/curriculum sales at convention?
A: Yes, Thursday, May 27th from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Q: Does it cost to come to the used books/curriculum sale?
A: Yes, $50 per table rented.
Q: Do I need to register for the used books/curriculum sale?
A: Sellers must register and pay for their tables. Buyers do not need to register this year.
Q: Who is eligible to volunteer?
A: We ask that the volunteers be adults ages 18 years or older. We also ask that you have attended at least one previous convention to be considered as a volunteer. Thank you.
